Dr. Smoron encourages you to do something very simple to help fight disease; check out Stanford University's Folding@home project. It is a distributed computing project that aims to better understand the causes of diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and many others. You simply download a program, install it, and the program will utilize unused computing cycles on your computer to help advance the project. You can also join a team of "folders", such as Dr. Smoron's Low Carb Team, #52388. If you have any questions, please contact the doctor and he can talk with you further about it.
